The Cape’s unique Fynbos Kingdom has over eight hundred plant species. The Conservation Estate boasts pristine endangered fynbos and unique flora that exist nowhere else in the Cape. Spectacular wild flower shows occur annually.
There is already a wide range of indigenous fauna on the Estate including Leopard, Bat-eared Fox, Lynx and Geometric Tortoise. In addition Cape Nature will re-introduce previously existing species of animals including, Mountain Zebra, Wildebeest and several species of antelope.
The Cape has more bio-diversity than the entire rest of the planet. This is a unique opportunity to help preserve a part of that heritage.
This important Conservation Estate has now been put under the permanent stewardship of Cape Nature and in addition the site has been declared part of the WWF bio-diversity programme.
